Description:
Includes a transferable mechanical service plan with Assurant that expires 11/26/2024 or at 118,939 miles whichever comes first. The mechanical service plan has paid for the repair of a front valve cover leak (5/2022) and new radiator (9/2023) both at a MB dealership (RBM of Atlanta).
This SL63 was purchased from Mercedes Benz of Sacramento in 2021. The previous owner was a physician who only took the SL63 to MB of Sacramento for all maintenance work and I have had all maintenance performed at RBM of Atlanta since my ownership. This SL63 is guaranteed to not disappoint and I constantly get compliments wherever I go whether it's while stopped at a stop light, parked in the parking garage, in valet line, etc. When asked year, no one believes that it is a 2013 year model. The below photos shows tread depth on the front tires; but, two new Pirelli P-Zeros were installed on the rear in late July 2023.
This SL63 is ceramic coated with Gyeon Q² Pure EVO. From Gyeon: Q² PURE EVO utilizes the maximum percentage of silica possible in a ceramic coating. Expect pure candy gloss, intense water beading, and great chemical resistance. This ceramic gloss coating is applied in a thick single layer that looks amazing and will provide long-term durability and protection from environmental impact. The previous owner had a clear PPF over the car that was removed after my purchase because it was looking worn.
Looking to sell only because family is increasing in size so a 2 seater is no longer practicable.
This SL63 has the much sought after AMG P30 Performance Package. The AMG P30 Performance Package includes:

I’m interested in your overall experience with the SL? Any real issues? I saw you had some work done this past summer it looks like. Do you have a copy of the VMI report that you could share?
I’m curious too about the transferable warranty you mentioned. The guys in TX tried to sell me on one, but my local dealer didn’t recognize them so I didn’t purchase.

Sure. My number is 678.685.8858. I throughly enjoyed the SL63 and traded it in for a S65, but have had slight buyers remorse and was thinking about buying the SL63 back from the dealership before you bought it. I was told that the dealership had a lot of people interested in the SL and that it was one of the hottest cars on their lot… I think you got a great deal. There’s nothing wrong with the S65, it’s just that the SL63 is much more fun to drive.
I terminated the extended warranty when I traded the vehicle in, however, and RBM of Atlanta will not give me a copy of the VMI. But, I can send you the VMI that Mercedes of Sacramento gave me when I purchased it from them.
In addition to what’s mentioned in my original listing, the accelerator pedal has been replaced to resolve what’s called a limp home mode when accelerating onto the highway and the brake fluid has been changed within the last year. I’m old school so the oil has been changed every 3000 miles and I was told by the dealer that the prior owner was the same way with frequent oil changes. The cabin charcoal filter was also replaced within the last year.
By the way, I uninstalled the Roadtop unit that gives the SL CarPlay/Android Auto functionality, but I can sell it to you for 1/2 the cost of whatever it is to buy new if you’re a DIY kind of person.
I terminated the extended warranty when I traded the vehicle in, however, and RBM of Atlanta will not give me a copy of the VMI. But, I can send you the VMI that Mercedes of Sacramento gave me when I purchased it from them.

Did you purchase a warranty for your S65 from Maverick? I was going to run it by my local Benz dealer to make sure I had the right information from them.
And yes, I’m a diy guy. I plan to do most if not all the maintenance myself. Will be my first MB to be taking care of but I should be more than up to the task. I think it’ll help me bond well with the car, too. Let me see what the cost of the Roadtop is on Amazon. 50 % is good with me!

I did not ask what kind of warranty plans Maverick offered. The plan on the SL was with Assurant — a plan that my credit union offered. Never had a declined claim. I ended up going with a warranty plan with Fidelity Warranty Services for the S65 because of the higher max payouts.
There’s a vendor on this forum that sells both Freedom and Fidelity contracts. The Freedom contract appeared to have really good plan terms and it’s cheaper than Fidelity. The difference is that Freedom max total payout is about $40k and Fidelity max payout is the car’s NADA retail value. If you decide to go with Fidelity as well, I would shop around for prices because I received quotes that were cheaper and additional Fidelity products than this forum’s vendor provided.
