what jackasses. I don't care how much money you have, why would you do such a thing. Thank god some companies like Ferrari are coming up with special requirements to own some models, like you much have racing credentials etc. Doesn't matter how much money you have.

The Maybach sells for $373,000 (reportedly)
1. Let's sell it in pristine condition and bank it for charity. Chances are it would sell for more since it was owned by a celebrity ( negative IQ notwithstanding)
2. Let's skip the party with a reported bill for $250,000 and add this to the bank account.
3. Now we have $623,000 we can send to Somalia immediately to stem the famine.
Problem solved reasonably and honorably.
Question: When is this charity auction to take place.
Answer: Oh, we intend to do this at the earliest possible time.
My Comment: It's over a week ago since the senseless destruction of this luxury vehicle and not a penny to show for charity. Come on - give me a break!!!! Who is going to waste time and money buying a Maybach prepared to meet it's doom in the car crusher.
Why do some people believe a lie told a thousand times before they believe the truth told only once?

Jay and Kanye (especially Jay-Z aka Shawn Carter) are two of the most brilliant in hip-hop. Jay grossed more than anyone on the Forbes list this year with Kanye not far behind him.
Jay-Z has established well over a dozen successful businesses/org's and donated millions of dollars to different causes, a lot through his own charity arm. Schools, infrastructure, 9.11 victims, and the list goes on.
I don't think idiots accomplish these feats. Nah, they had some fun and donated Jay's old Maybach after ratrod and sliding the damn thing. Funny how outrage comes about this one little car incident but no one raises hell about outrageous expenses of some in the business world, trashing the finances by leadership, where are those threads?

FWIW, that's not a "new" Maybach. The Maybach shown at the beginning is a brand new 57 Facelift. The one "torn up" is a pre facelift model which sell for ~$95-115k used. I still think it's stupid, but it's not as expensive as some people make it out to be.
