so I just took the time to read through this post... and I have to say it was hilarious.. oh and those who lied to make a point? get a life.. I'm curious though... did anyone buy the maybach yet?? and do they want to give a ride to a poor acura driver?

I'm very much a lurker at MBW and just read the forums for the invaluable amount of information. But I really had to post in this thread, for the simple fact that this guy does not make any amount of sense whatsoever.
1. Yeah, because, you know, old money is simply so much better than new money. It's ****ing money.
2. I notice the west coast badging thing as well. But there are also a considerable amount of people on the west coast who debadge their top-of-the-line cars. And don't tell me people in Manhattan don't do that.
3. Nobody cares that you dislike their taste. Simple fact is that they are driving a Maybach and enjoying it while you're arguing on an internet forum about their choice.
Of course, all this "I don't like to be flashy" talk comes from someone who claims to have a SL65. ****, why didn't you just buy a SL500? Are you seriously intending to use all 700+ ft. lbs. of torque on the public road?
Yeah, I have a hard time trying to use Google Image Search as well.
Who gives a ****? He's a MB enthusiast and that's what this forum is about - enthusiasm for MB vehicles...not criticizing other people's style.
And as for me, I own a Rolls Royce Phantom, Maybach 62, Range Rover, F40, and a Carrera GT as a fun car. I also have a supermodel wife and live in a house on Balboa. Actually, snap back to reality - I'm a college student and I drive an Infiniti.
Yeah, I really agree. For the two Maybach owners who actually bother to read forums on the internet, they can just make threads in the general discussion section and proceed to get sackridden/hated on.
