Many, many, many years ago I used to drive a Unimog of the same vintage in the Namibian bush as a conscript soldier during the South African Bush War.
At the time the most widely used tools to chop down a tree was our R1 assault rifles on full automatic or a chain attached to a Unimog.These vehicles were indestructable and unstoppable . We 'mineproofed' them using layers of sandbags below the drivers and passengers.
