Hi i have one of those sprinters that are a pain to find manuals for down to it being a sprinter/crafter and i seem to be in between the haynes manual gap but anyway i had lots of problems with the light
no fog lights
lights came on when ignition came on and the light switch did not do any thing
reverse light were temperamental

i look every where for a solution to no avail i tried new bulbs, new bulb holders, tested all the wiring i was pulling my hair out and google was no help i asked for sprinter stuff and got golfs audies allsorts . But i am here to tell you i have fixed it and to tell you all to try this solution which i found while trying to fix something else
the problem ended up being a clip for the wiring on the SAM unit i will put a picture up if i can but what i did was remove the 2 small blocks of wires out of the clip and the put them back in .And omg it worked after all i tried it ended up being that

this is the clip on mine it had 1 black block and 1 gray block
