Hi Nick I have recently bought my first car - 137k km CL600 biturbo (US version, now in Europe). I want to extend its life, from what I read it would be good to replace the water pump with either:
    1. Bosch 0 392 022 010
    2. Pierburg CWA50
    3. Pierburg CWA100 (RennTech)
    4. EMP WP29
    5. Kleemann
Which pump should I choose with my stock system, without having to worry that the water/coolant will move too fast and not cool off?

Thank you, your posts are absolutely insightful - very helpful for me and the community... talking about standing on the shoulders of giants, haha.

Hi Nick, I'm new here so I did a post but I don't know if it went to the right area (not good on the computer lol) I was reading the post about doing the radiator on a CL65. I just did mine a few days ago and here is my issues: My 2005 CL65 AMG had the check engine light on when the radiator went. Replaced the radiator and the check engine light was still on. The fan was staying on constantly. I brought the car to a guy with a scanner to reset the check engine light and now my fan doesn't come on at all. To make matters worst, I don't have a fuse diagram so I checked a few fuses under the hood by pulling them out and to see if any were blown and now my ABC (Active Body Control) that raises and lowers the car and the button that puts you into sport or convenience mode doesn't work! Is it possible that the guy with the scanner erased my fan data? And as far as me visually checking the fuses , I am wondering if I need to reset something with the ABC? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Khoi,
    I definitely recommend NGK IFR6Q-G,
One of the Bosch is suitable for the NA V12 and one is suitable for the TT V12, but I can't remember which is which.
There is a thread somewhere with lots of discussion about this.
It's very important that you don't use the wrong plugs, otherwise the coil packs will fail quickly.
    Regards,
    Nick

    Hi Nick,
My name is Khoi, and i am a new CL65amg owner. Currently, i have misfiring codes. I have read somewhere that wrong spark plug can cause the issue. I have seen you recommend 3 different part numbers: NGK IFR6Q-G or Bosch FR7KPP33U or FRKI332S. So which one are you highly recommended?
In addition, my front damper/high pressure hose for abc system has just burst. The one that has the dead that does not connect to anthing. Do you recommend to have a shop to build one or just replace with oem? (part number would help so much, i have been searching for the part number but came up for nothing valid)
    Thanks so much Nick.

Hi David, I'm afraid I've never used any MB specislusrs.

    Hi Nick,
I came across your post whilst trying to do some research on the ABC system on my car. One of the pipes in my ABC system broke over the weekend. I took it to a local garage for them to diagnose what was wrong. We've identified the pipe that is leaking (due to corrosion) but due to the specialist nature of the work the garage have said I may be better seeking out an ABC experienced mechanic.

Don't suppose you know of anyone in my area that I could go to do you? I live in Weybridge in Surrey (KT12/KT13 postcode area).

    Many thanks in advance,
    David

Sorry, I wouldn't know about PAS pump conversions. I seem to have spent the last five years of my life trying to keep ABC running.

Hey i've been going through a ton of posts trying to find an answer to this and its a bit of a struggle. I came across a bunch of your posts and i'm hoping you might know something about my situation haha

So apparently its a blasphemy to do so but i converted to the strutmaster coilovers when my ABC went. I have 2001 s600 5.8v12. I read on some posts that the pump from the s430/s500 without ABC is a direct fit. Do you happen to know if this is the case? I'm trying to order the right part and get this done but its been a struggle. Also some people that used the non-ABC pump were saying the pulley has 6 groves instead of the 7 that i have on mine. Any suggestions and/or directing me to the right place would be really really appreciated.

    Hi Nick,
I found your post via google search for turbo coolant seals: https://mbworld.org/forums/s55-amg-s...ml#post6103623
As you know (since you responded in my thread), that I am already doing the driver side coil pack on S600 and I have also been told that I have a slow leak on my turbos. The Indy I went to said it appears they were coming from the bottom (I saw the green dyed coolant the person who sold me the car had in it come from the bottom), but I figure while I already have the coil packs out, I should just replace all the coolant seals on the top half as well. Seems people the done this with the engine in place. I just need the part numbers that you have in that pic you posted in the link above. If you have the part numbers for both top and bottom coolant seals that would be great. Thanks!
