DTM ~~~ German Nascar? WTF???
Sio the Tivo picked up the DTM races last week.
I am underimpressed. Yeah its cool to see Mercedes silhoutte cars race but its just Mercedes and Audi. At the end of the race I've got 50/50 odds Mercedes will win. Why won't BMW join the DTM? They're supposed to be the ultimate driving machines and what not.

Bmw and I think pugote(sp?) used to be in it. this series has folded before because of cost. the manufactures couldn't afford to stay competitive in it.(except MB) it is very populer though almost as much as F1.
I wish BMW was in it also and a few more car makers. would make for better racing etc!!

I watched again last night and was actually entertained. Gary Paffett was lapping faster than Hakkinnen in the 06 C versus the 08 C.
The commentators said that though the 08 C has more grunt the 06C is lighter.

My dream match up would be CTS-V vs. M3 sedan vs. IS-F vs. C63 vs. RS4.
I know the car mags will do a review but they are all biased and subjective.
