Predictions for Barcelona GP

All right guys, there is a lot of fuzz going on regarding the upgrades that the teams are doing to start the European season. Ferrari came up with the air inlets in their nose, Renault changed the wing in the back and they are talking about improvememnts, the Toyota and BMW guys are also talking about improved performance. The McLaren camp was very quiet, what do you guys think?

mclaren need a good result, and they usually preform well in this circuit. Ferrari are obviously going to be the team to beat, Alonso will be fired up infront of his fans, so he might bring a decent result. And obviously we cant exclude the BMW's at least one of them will be on the podium.

The question for me, is which mclaren driver will come out on top in spain.
If Hamilton continues his poor form mclaren will be struggling for most of the season.

If Hammy is stuck behind FA again, it will be funny

That will decide the McLaren pecking order. I predict Kimi to take this one away from Massa. Hamilton will once again implode upon finding himself behind a Renault.

I think car number thinkco will win, just because I like to hear the way the Catalans pronounce five.

So far so good with my prediction. Alonso is a magician behind the wheel.

See Garage
If the "***" doesn't take out Raikkonen at the first corner, I suspect that Kimi will win.

Starting position No. 2 is great, but how LITTLE fuel did he carry during qualifying session no. 3?? An attempt to get pole, regardless of number of pitstops? Will he try to block his "ex-teammate" Hamilton?? We will find out in 8 hours from now....

Everyone runs low fuel in Q2, and there he was 4th, so his car is not a complete dog. Hamilton will implode behind him.

So Lewis managed to keep his cool this time. Good for him, although it was only good enough for a 3rd-place finish. I'm sure he's just glad to be back on the podium.

The pace of BMW, and now possibly Renault, is a good sign for this season and beyond

1) Kubica lost a podium on the start... he was right there the whole time.
2) The Renault is now the best of the rest. Alonso wasn't as light as everyone thought so he'll now be a factor if he can keep it up.
3) That stupid pit closed safety car rule needs to change.

The rest including BMW or without? Think it's too early to say they are better than BMW.

clearly something has to be done concerning the saftey car rule.

this is ridiculous. its A matter of time before a championship will be decided as a result of a penalty or a car running out of fuel.

Lets see how the two compare at the next GP, I don't think can conclude that based on one GP only.

They definately had problems with the setup especially during the practice sessions, it seems that it took them a while to figure out a stable setup. It might be possible that the setup they used for qualifying and race wasn't completely optimized. I wonder how much of it is due to the Alonso not being there.

To the contrary, Alosno did a great job at Renault.
