New lap record at Valencia

 

So far in the "winter world championship" as Ron Dennis used to call it, McLaren has been looking pretty good. The new car will be introduced on Saturday, hopefully it will prove to be faster. McLaren is introducing this car much earlier than normal, usually their new car is introduced in mid-February. Considering the lack of early season reliability that has plagued the team the past few years, I think this is a good idea. Perhaps the stiffer competition from BMW will act to kickstart MB - considering that they are in more direct competition business-wise than Ferrari.

Just hope Speedvision/Speedchannel pulls through with a F1 contract.
