Hello everyone, first post, first question. I recently purchased a 1990 300e 4matic with 125000 km. in wonderful shape in every area. My concern is that the 4matic light on the speedometer does not light. The car seems to have amazing traction on ice and snow. Is it possible that the all wheel drive is not working? The 4matic trouble light on the dash is not on. Thanks for any insight.

Check your booklet...I think the light only comes on when the 4matic function is "sensing trouble" (e.g. slippery surface, loose gravel, etc.) At least that is how it works on my 2000. Good Luck.
