Does a 98 E430 have the capability of an auto alert when you lock and unlock the doors?

I know 2000+ E's can if they are programmed to do so with the STAR Diag computer. Call you dealer and have them ask the service manger if the '98 has the same option. It is located under the "Norway" settings in the Star Diag system.
