question about w211 center console/arm rest
I'm curious about the E55's in particular
Are they interchangable? personally I dont like the sliding center console/arm rest and want the 03-04 center console/arm rest, can i put a 03-04 center console/armrest into the 05-06 models?
Does anyone know if this is possible? are they interchangable? has anyone done this before?

The wiring harnesses have changed between the two styles, so it's not a trivial retrofit, but I think that Steve (MBenzNL) may have figured out a swap design using some other harnesses.
