MB reccomends bosche plantin or something. But at $16.50 or $9.50 with an autmotive dealer discount, that was horrifing to hear. I have some autolite plugs platinum, but it would pain me to use autolite. I like NGK and bosche but I need to find a cheaper source than MB. ![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
So, where are you getting your plugs and what brand are you using?
Also, is the plug gap for the 2.6L 2002 C240, 40 thousandths?
Thanks!

Three good sources, in my order of personal preference (not just for plugs, but for anything they carry):
www.autohausaz.com (free shipping at $50 price point)
www.autopartswarehouse.com (free shipping at $50 price point)
http://parts.mbz.org (free shipping at $75 price point)
Based on things I've read on this forum, I decided to go with the NGK Iridiums, but haven't yet put them in. I wanted something with a really long life, but my general rule of thumb for spark plugs is: if you're satisfied with the performance and longevity of the plugs you have, replace them with the same. (If you want to do that, pull one to get the numbers off it so you're sure you're getting the same replacement.)
Good luck and enjoy the ride,![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
