Time to change the tranny fluid, but where?
Would you use an independent for this or stick to the dealer (assuming the independent is not a mercedes specialist, as those are rare in my state)?
And for anyone who has had this done recently, what total cost can I expect?

Oh yes, you told me about that guy. I wasn't the one about detailing though. Who do you recommend for that?
And one more thing, if I want to have aftermarket parts installed (such as a brake kit), would he take care of the install only, or do I have to buy the parts through him (these would be non-OEM parts)?

If you bring him the parts I am sure he'll install them. He doesn't get caught up in all the aftermarket stuff.He is from the old school , maintain it , fix it , drive it.As far as the detailing :HERE'S A WEBSITE - CHECK IT OUT - ITS PROBABLY MORE CONVIENT - http://www.likenewautos.net/ , agian let me know how you make out !
