Variable idling
My 95 SL500 is seeming to have a problem keeping a stable idle speed.
If it starts cold and I drive it around till its warm it works fine. If i shut the car off when its warm and restart it.
Everytime im at 0mph the car idles to about 800rpm then back down to 200rpm and it feels like its going to stall... but then it shoots back up to 800 rpm. It will not stay at the 500rpm idle.
If i let the car cool down over night it repeats as above.
Any ideas?
