'99 SLK 230
Oil Filter for SLK 230
Can anyone tell me what type of filter I need to get to change the oil on my '99 SLK by myself? I have found some generic brand filters online but am skeptical that they will fit in all of the models that they claim. Thanks

Filter Change
Just go to the dealer and purchase an OEM as the price difference between original and after market isn't worth the trouble. After market ones are usually not as good anyway, less filtering media. Don't forget to get the tool to rmove the filter cap. Have fun
