SL65 2200 miles/needed a qt of oil?

SL65 2200 miles/needed a qt of oil?
I purchased the SL65 three weeks ago, and only put 2200 miles on it, and already the alert popped up that it was low a quart of oil. I took it to MB and they changed the oil completely, and told me to come back between 650 and 1000 miles to calculate the oil consumption. What could possibly be the issue?

Most likely just engine break in... Which dealer did you take it to? Autohaus?

If you take it back in and they calulate the consumption, most likely it will not have consumed any oil since your last visit.

I live a few miles south of you, wanna trade some weekend????
