I had a check engine light on my 98 c280, so I disconnected the battery to reset it. I closed the trunk. About an hour later I tried to open the trunk, but the key won't turn. I used some WD40, but no luck. The door opens fine with the key. What are my options? I don't have the ski bag option.

Ok, so, I connected a battery charger to the positive and negative terminals up front (near the fusebox on the driver side), and that didn't work. But, then I tried connecting it to another car's battery (the other car was NOT running, it was turned off), and it worked. At first, it seemed like there wasn't a positive lead in the engine compartment. That's why I was worried. But then I found it by the fuse box. I hope this helps someone in the future.
