correct fuel distributor for 116.981 (69-72 300sel 3.5l) engine?
hi
i'm searching for 116.981 (69-72 300sel 3.5l) v8 engine fuel distributor code? i have "bosch 0 438 100 012"(450slc part code) on my car now. and it has some problems. could anyone help me to find the correct fuel distributor code?

The current part number is Bosch 0 986 438 089. The part is no longer available new - these are remanufactured units. www.worldpac.com should have one.

as i wrote i have 0438 100 012 on my car now. it isnt original part of my car. and there is some problems on it. if i buy the same part (new or working) again, is this works properly?

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Are you sure that you don't have the 450SLC engine in your car? Looking at the Bosch part list for your car (300SEL, 116.981) these vehicles were equipped with an electronic fuel system (not K-Jet or mechanical).

the engine code starts 116.981. and i have this part on may car now. i dont know that, this engine has got electronic system. how can i learn it?
