Best place to get MAF sensor for C220?
I need a new MAF sensor, the part # is 0 280 217 100 and cheapest I can find it for is $307. Are these available anywere for cheaper?

you could try www.worldpac.com. A decent price at a dealer would be $492, so $307 isn't so bad. I'd say if you get down to about 250 - 260, you're doing well.

Replacement MAF
I used a VW Jetta MAF in my 98 C230. Works fine. I took the interior part with the connector apart from the casing and put it in my old casing (you just need tamper proof torx). Try one from the scrap yard before taking it apart. If it works, you pay 100$ instead of 300$.
