Looking for tech advice on replacing lower control arm bushings

Dealership said the lower control arm bushings on my C32 are shot. Got the replacement parts in the mail yesterday, and I want to install tomorrow. I haven't found a DIY for mercedes control arm bushings. Anyone know where I can find one? Thanks in advance.

They have to be pressed in and out with a hydraulic press

Yes, they require a press. Unless you are pretty capable of working on cars, its not something I would get yourself into. PM me, i'm a MB tech and live very close to you.

wow

took almost all day yesterday, but I got-er-done. the kicker was as the posts mentioned above, getting the bushings in/out of the control arms. I bought a 2" pipe fitting at home depot and used a bench grinder to shape it to my needs. Had to hit the pipe fitting so hard you can see the lip mushrooming out in the attached pic. I'd probably pay the money next time. 8-)

it helps if you put the bushings in the freezer for a half an hour before pressing them in. also if you get a piece of all thread, some large washers, and two nuts you can use that to press them rather than hammering them in.
