Looking for an '87 300TDT
Crazy Question - drop an '87 300TDT engine in a '88-'91 300TE?
Both wagons. Would this be possible?
I suppose there might be quite a bit of engine control electronics that go along with that.
The '87 diesels are a bear to find and sell for twice the later 300TE's. Why not get the best of both worlds? Great gas mileage and low price?
Besides, the waste vegetable oil idea is interesting.
BTW, I've located at low mileage '87 engine for damn near free.
