Question Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

Does anyone know if there's a way to have two different sets of wheels (summer / winter) with TPMS installed and NOT have to visit the dealer for a recalibration each time you swap wheels? I'm specifically interested in this for an '03 E55. If there's a way for me to do the recalibration, that would be fine, assuming it doesn't require a special tool that costs hundreds of $. Any insights on this problem appreciated. Thx.

It will learn the new sensor numbers itself, after a looong drive- sometimes it's quicker, but it seems to take 20 miles or better.

It took me 30 miles for it to learn the new sensors. Using teh dealer computer is instant learning

So are you saying that you actually *never* have to pay the dealer to "calibrate" sensors (i.e. even brand new ones that the car has never seen before)? I'm willing to wait for a few days worth of driving to get it to switch from one set of sensors to the other set when I swap summer/winter wheels. I just don't want to have to pay the dealer for a recalibration every time I swap wheel sets.
