Tranny shift problem

I am working on a 99 s500. Just replaced the tranny. After finished I test drove car, shifted in all gears and fluid level good. Took car to get faults cleared and adapted. Car drives fine in all gears except when floored. At full throttle it sputters when about to **** and car dies. Anyone have this problem?

When you say replaced the tranny, where did it come from?
It sounds like there is some kind of conflict going on between the trans and the ME. ME is supposed to close throttle and retard timing just before a shift, to help protect the trans.
I'm also assuming that the car didn't do this before...

the tranny came out of a runing car and did not do this in that car. ran diag on the car fault 147 tranny internal slippage and crankshaft pot sensor faults stored. I am assuming these came from when the car died. there was some fluid on the harness so im going to clean it and check the control module. this may or maynot have anything to do with the problem. the kicker is it only does it when at full throttle. it shifts perfect when normally driving. what is a procedure for checking kick down operation, and could that be caused by fuid in the harness or a malfunctioning control module.
