Oil Light at 3500 rpm?
Hola - Have a 2000 C230k 73k miles - my oil light is coming on around 3200-3500 rpm's (80-90 mph). If I slow down to 70 mph, it goes off. Similarly, if I put 'er in neutral, it goes off. Oil level is fine. Also seems slight grade makes it happen.
Could it be a faulty sensor? Does the light also indicate low pressure or just level? Could the oil cap be losing pressure?
Please advise - thanks

I posted on your other thread.
It's not your oil cap. It could very well be your oil pump, or clogged oil passages..get it checked.

How do you check your oil level ?,if you use the dash readout it may be that the sensor is faulty and you are very low on oil, have the level checked using a dipstick.
