broken window.

i already post this, however i was wondering how do i fix a borken glass on the passenger side for a 2003 c240. Any help would be very much appreciated(webistes_). i just bought a glass window for $220 and installion would be around $300. i just want to save some money from this incident. thanks .

If you never did it before and don't know how let a professional do it. The risk of doing more damage and even breaking your new glass is great. It could cost you lots more than they want for installation.

I have not repaired the glass in a MB but in my other cars it is not too difficult to do this in the doors. BUT I would recommend you get the Manual from MB for your car on how to disassemble the door. Jim

There are several good posts on how to get the door panel off....the door pulls break a lot. Make sure you get the upgraded window attach hardware if its not already on your car. You can tell by looking at the two attach points. If they are black/round rubber you're OK, if its white plastic change it.
