MBtech, that transfer case
When does it make a rumbling noise on the ML? I took mine to Chambers Motorcars and they said it was normal. I feel and hear the rumble when I turn the wheel fast and it does it on and off when the wheel is locked over. Please help!

It does it at slow speeds, on tight corners such as maneuvering around a parking lot. It'll feel like a tire is rubbing against the wheelwell, makes a rumble/shudder. It's not normal, if it does that, you need a new transfer case.

It will make that rumbling sound at full lock, or near full-lock. Doesn't matter as long as the vehicle is turning at a sharp enough radius, i.e. parking lot manuevers.
