86 420SEL Air Condition always on and off in hot days. Seemed need accelerating certain time can kick on, then it kept off and reduce spped can kick on again, I know there is switch to compare the compressor and motor, I doubt if the belt loose cause the problem, or other reason? I don't know how to tighten the belt, It seems not accessible and no adjust screw for compressor belt. And I wonder if I can by-pass the switch just simply turn the a/c always on,because it's really hot here, don't need adjust. Please help.

I am not sure if your car has a thermosthat. If it does then may be you can by pass it. I guess the switch should be OK. Good luck.
