i have just bought a 89 190e 2.6 at a very cheap price.. the only problem i am having is it won't start.. if i pour fuel down the throttle body it will run for a few seconds.. other then that it won't start.. it has fire at the plug and i am getting fuel up to the fuel distro body.. any suggestions or idea's??

Fuel pump?? Component of the injection system?? Have you checked the injectors?? Fuel Filter?? Hope you bought it at a very low price or received it as a gift. The starting problem is why the price was so low. You may have to spend more than it cost you?
