w210 E55 Oil consumption?
Is it normal for the oil gauge to go from full to low after 12k miles of an oil change. No apparant leaks present. Engine power seems strong. Car currently has 54k miles. Indicator shows oil change due in 3k miles.

i do not own a E55 but a motor burning 2.5 qt's of synthetic oil in 12k miles does NOT sound normal. get it checked out asap
