it will open 1/4 way and then starts making popping noises and nothing happens. thank god i can close it back though. it sounds like something is still moving but the glass is not. when i close it, i can hear noises again and the glass will move a few seconds later. it still pops up in the back.

this F##KING sucks, it's 65 degrees here and no moonroof. what is the fix for this and how much $ are we looking at

Sounds like one of the slides is broken, or a cable is stripped.. you have to take the glass out and look at it to determine exactly what broke. Not usually very expensive
