Question 300E 4-Matic Transmission leaking

I have a 1993 and the tranny is leaking from the top above the transfer case after the car has run long enough to build up pressure. I can't see any bolts to remove tc to see if seal is bad. Anyone have any advise? I can't run car because fluid is dripping on exhaust and I'm afraid of fire. HELP!!!! thanks Ken Evans:

Are you sure it’s the transfer case and not a transmission leak from the tail vent. First check the transmission fluid level, if over fill or low it’s the transmission vent, if not clean the top of the transfer case, run the car until it leaks, with a flexible mirror carefully check for the leakage source.
