Exclamation E280 (W210)-engine shut off while driving

Dear All, I need some advise. I have E280 1997 (W210) and at the bigining of january occured a problem. After starting engine everytning looks normal I start driving and after some time engine just stops. I am not able to start it again just after but when I wait about 30 min it starts without any problem but again after some time it stops again - what could be a problem? I think it could have something to do with the temp.
Thanks a lot in advance

This is a common problem on the V6 engine ,it is caused by a faulty crankshaft position sensor,it is #5 in this diagram;http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb2.asp...SGR=075&SGN=04
; and is relatively cheap and simple to change.See this recent thread;https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...72#post1952072
