S430 (W220 chassis) Parking Brake Adjustment
I need to adjust the parking brake on my W220 chassis S430. According to the Alldata DIY information, I need tp preload something under the seat before I can adjust the shoes at the wheels.
Is this preload thing really needed? Like my volvo that has a separate drum system for the parking brake, I was hoping to just raise the car and then use a screwdriver through the hub and turn the gearwheel to tighten.
