Skip the tech. Save the $$.
Use fuse #7 in trunk fuse panel. To run wire, pop off door sills and slip back the carpeting. The hardest part is to get the wire from trunk area into the cabin - I used a wire fishtape (fiberglass not metal). I pushed it through the innards until it came out where I needed it to.
Hopefully this helps. The hardest part is the #7 fuse!

I think that EvoSport can do it for you. They are in the L.A. area and are supposed to be very good! There are some EvoSport reps on this board (outpalik & Mach430) Like I said I am pretty sure they could hardwire it for you!
