Spongy Brakes. Need Help.
Dear all,
I am driving an SLK 350. The brakes were soft and spongy so I tried bleeding the brakes, but the problem was still there.
Therefore, I changed my brakes to those of SLK 55 AMG.
To my dismay, the brakes are still soft and spongy.
Please help.
Any suggestions/comments will be appreciated.

New pads might feel soft until they have seated. If you still have a "spongey" pedal,, you probably still have air in the lines.
Check to insure you are following the specified procedure.
Sometimes the procedure will be
RR
LR
RF
LF
for bleeding.

Always bleed the brakes from the furthest from the master cylinder to the closest.
