380SL Heating Problem

Question 380SL Heating Problem
I have a 1984 380SL and am experiencing two problems with the heating system.

1) No matter which button is pressed the heat and a/c only blows out of the two side vents and the defrost vent.
2) When using the heat the air starts blowing cold above 60mph.

Any suggestions for possible fixes for these issues would be appreciated.

sounds like the flaps inside the dash to direct air are not working properly
