MCS "WAIT" blue Screen

MCS "WAIT" blue Screen
New guy here, and I'm looking in to purchasing a 2001 ML 55 AMG and when i test drove it today the MCS did nothing but display and blue screen with the words "WAIT" being displayed. I was wondering if what the problem could be and how would i be able to fix it. Any help is apperciated thanks!
