Breaking in a leased car

I have a question is the break in period different for a car you lease than a car you buy?

Why would it be any different?? Do you really think that the car knows its leased??

not in that case, I know the car has feelings.

seriously, would you break in a car differently if you owned it or leased it?

Some people who lease cars are a little more indifferent about the break in process because they will not be using the car on a long term basis. For example my wife's '08 E350 will probably have less than 30,000 miles on it when the lease expires.

As a practical matter there is not much involved with the break in process. Don't do burnouts or spin donuts for the first 1,000 and your break in process is complete...

Beat the **** out of it to break it in, it will have more power and run better. This has been dyno proven
