alright im in a bit of a jam....im planning on doing a tuneup on my car and also upgrading battery but the problem is that i know i have to enter codes again once i reconnect it....anyone know where i can go to access them??

I believe if you make a fairly quick (?) battery replacement you don't have to change the code because there's a capacitor that keeps the code and presets alive for a while.

hmm so if i have an aftermarket headunit i wont have to enter any codes right?? btw i appreciate the rapid response

Correct, I don't know of any aftermarket units that require a code. The code is specific to the radio. I believe the W202 uses a fibre optic connection with the radio.....is your after market unit fibre optic ready?
