future of 65 series?

went to the dealer today and sales rep told me mercedes might discontinue 65 series (s65, cl65, sl65). True or false? Also why isnt the s65 in the s-class brochure? s63 is included? same goes for the cl and sl brochure? can anyone share some insight

The 65 series cars have their own special materials, and not included in the regular brochures in order to maintain exclusivity.

The 65 series will not end, although it may evolve soon. It is based on the V12 with the 3 valve per cyl design that is one generaiton behind all the other engines. Also, the V12s are still using the old 5 speed. Both these factors point towards updates in the coming years.

Hard to be "green" with a V12.

Im sorry, but I dont think many 65 or 600 owners are too concerned about being "green".
