engine repair manual???
I need a manual to fix an oil leak between the front cover and cylinder head. Does anyone know where I can get a manual of this type? If not, I need to know whether I need to remove the cylinder head before removing the front cover. Please help ASAP! I need to get on this before it gets too cold for me to work on it myself.

Before you take the whole thing apart check where the oil is coming from. Normally it's only the top part of the front cover which leaks (pretty common thing)
Clean everything very carefully and than check with talkum powder where the source of the leak is located. If it is only the top part--that's an easy one.
Take off the valve cover
remove the spark distributor
take out the top part of the front cover
insert a new gasket in the cover
seal the surfaces with the appropriate seal paste
put everything back in place
that's it.
If the leaks are in the lower part of the front cover, then I would assume the radiator needs to come out to get enough space, but may be I'm wrong I never did this. But what I first discribed and it was easy.
