Is this normal??
This is the first real cold spell we've had and I noticed something I don't think is right. After shutting the car off after the trip home from work the heat blower comes on. The car is completely shut down, engine off and all of a sudden the heat starts blowing. Is this normal or do I need to make a visit to the service department?
I try to avoid bringing the car in unless it's necessary. Vehicle is under warentee but if it ain't broke don't fix it right?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I thought it might be. I remember reading about this when I first got the car but didn't realize it would come on by itself. I think the REST button was off when the fan came on before. I'll have to keep an eye on it but thanks for the reply. I hope you're right. Thanks

You mean the heater blower comes on? No it should not come on without user action.
I thought the REST feature cannot be on from a previous activation, perhaps an issue with the blower regulator (I once had a blower regulator failure and it kept the blower on at full speed)?

Thanks
I think you guys were right.
Hasn't happened since, although its warmed up a bit.
Not sure now if the REST light was on or off so I'm not going to worry about it.
I appreciate the posts. Thanks again for your help.
