CEL and code P0306

I know that this is a cylinder 6 no spark code. What would cause this. I have changed the plugs and switched the coil from another cylinder but I still get rough idle and code P0306. Could the spark plug wires fail that quick? Can I test the wire with an ohm meter? Thanks for all help you can supply to me. I have a 99C280 Sport.

Did you change the plugs before or after getting the error code? Yes. Yes, but with carbon wires you could test OK with a meter and fail under load.

I got the error code then changed the plugs and switched the coils. Yes there is good compression on #6. This just started after a stop home after work. Thought that maybe the wires got wet. Going to try and switch wires tomorrow to see if it changes to another cylinder.

Swap the injector with another one, see if it changes cyl.
