Shorting window regulator - 1992 500E

Hi,

I have already posted this in the W124 general forum before realising this tech forum existed and is more appropriate. Sorry.

Anyway...

Does anyone have a wiring diagram with wire colour codes for the W124, the "36" chassis to be specific?

I have a '92 500E with a short which sometimes keeps the window regulator in the front right door constantly energised - gets hot and makes clicking noises.
I am trying to trace out the wires going under the backseat etc.

There was collision damage on the right side in the past, but having stripped everything out of the car, there is no obvious wiring damage.

Can someone e-mail me the correct diagram or tell me where I can download it?

Did you check the wiring from the a pillar to the door. Most likely the wiring is bad. I've seen this many of time were the wiring after time gets old and breaks.
