My '92 500E has just under 50,000 miles. Pretty much problem free since new (I am original owner). Will be changing brake fluid, coolant, transmission fluid this week. Plugs and air filter have 25K miles and are 10 years old - should I change them while I am at it? How about O2 sensor - it is original? Car continues to run great.

Might as well do the differential as well. At 3K/yr I would base all maintenance on time not miles. Owner's manual should give time alternatives to miles for routine maintenance.

PS Most people don't, but do the differential. Mkes a world of difference in my 126's.
