i just signed up, didnt see a welcome section so ill just start this off here


right now i have an 06 titan and the gas mileage is KILLING me. i just got stationed down in san antonio and have a 40 mile round trip to work every day.

ive been shopping around and have narrowed down to 3 different cars

-04 e46 325i
-04 c230k sport
-05 acura tl


ive driven all three, and am really liking both the rr platforms better, since ive never had anything but rr in all my cars.

i used to work for mercedes in pittsburgh at bobby rahal for 3 1/2 yrs but its been since 02 the last time i worked there and im a lil outa touch, to say, with merc's


my main question is the reliabilty issue with the c class, thats my number 1 choice, but if service is going to bend me over(which the routine i can do myself) along with parts prices, i dont know how cost effective it is for me to do this.

how many problems have the 04 c230 sports had, whats the common problem if any with them

it has 45k miles, auto
