I have a 2000 S 430 and the cd changer is saying t here is no disc on the magazine. I read some other threads about this problem. no help. I looked inside the cd changer as it goes through its cycle to search for the cds. it seems tostop at each tray but not attepmt to pull on the tray to check for a cd. its just going to each slot and sits for a second and then goes to the next untill it goes through all 6 trays.
any help?

Try tapping on the magazine as it is loading.

try another magazine first before replacing changer,sometimes the magazine sticks and won't work when installed in slot ,but it is not uncommon for the changer to stop working all of a sudden ,
