ticking noise???

ticking noise???
on my 1998 C280 i started hearing a ticking noise when sitting at a red light and in drive (window has to be open in order to hear it)
i took a look under the hood and i think it's coming from the little motor (secondary air inlet motor) on the inner fender on the driver's side.
Can anyone confirm if this is making the noise or not??? driving me crazy, now i listen to this all the time lol....
