cup holder only problem so far
Purchased a 2004 SL350 a couple of days ago and sat for a while playing with the toys, as one does. Everything OK except the LW radio screeches when the brake is applied and the right cup holder is stuck in. The dealer demonstrated the left cup holder.
Would be grateful if anybody could suggest fixes for these little annoyances and also where to start taking the consol apart.
Trying to avoid a longish round trip back to the dealer.
BTW the cockpit pic is of my previous 1995 SL500 Mille Miglia that broke the T-chain at 80 - hence the replacement.

i would search in the SL specific forum, if it's common issue it'll be there
the only problem though, not many SL owners are diyers
have you seen the star manuals online for pix? i'd start there
